krb5-kpropd software package provides MIT Kerberos key server (KDC), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install krb5-kpropd
krb5-kpropd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the krb5-kpropd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep krb5-kpropd *
You will get with krb5-kpropd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
